Any highlighted text from the left side indicates the creation of scenes. You can easily modify the summary by highlighting text segments to create new scenes or remove highlights to delete scenes.

Step 4: Customizing Your Video

Templates and Aspect Ratio
After finalizing your script, you can select video templates for subtitles and captions. Choose the one that best fits your content and set the aspect ratio—options include 16:9, 1:1, and 9:16.

Pictory will then create scenes and match visuals automatically.

Editing the Storyboard
You will see the Pictory storyboard video editor. Here, you can customize the video by deleting irrelevant scenes and modifying existing ones. To delete a scene, select it and click the delete icon. If a scene feels too long, you can split it into two scenes by positioning the cursor and clicking the split button.
