Can I Make a Video with AI Tools? - Intro Maker Monthly Update - September 2022
Film & Animation
Introduction
Hello everyone, this is Will H, the current owner and operator of Intro Maker and its associated YouTube channel. Here's a bit of background on my journey. I purchased the website and YouTube channel through a broker back in 2018. After spending time on the back end for a couple of years, I began creating new video templates for the site in 2020 to provide fresh content on the blog.
That month, I compiled all the new templates and uploaded them to YouTube. On a whim, I also included a link to the channel in my monthly newsletter. To my surprise, after lying dormant for two years, the channel began to attract a steady trickle of subscribers. So, I produced a “top 10” video and incorporated it into my welcome sequence, which gets sent to every new user when they sign up. This effort really paid off, as I started gaining about 10 to 20 new subscribers each month.
Now, after consistently uploading videos for just over two years, I'm on the brink of hitting 500 subscribers! So, what’s different this month? Besides my presence in this video, there are two key points to highlight. For the first time in more than two years, I didn’t create any new templates this month due to an unfortunate bout with pink eye (hence why I'm wearing sunglasses indoors).
The second point is part of a broader strategy of mine. I initiated a series of monthly reels a couple of years ago and intended to let the channel grow passively until I reached around 500 subscribers. Now that I’m almost there, it's time to take action. If I’m going to make Intro Maker an even better tool for YouTubers, I need to delve deeper and produce actual YouTube content. This will enable me to figure out how I can improve the tool for our users.
I know this video may not be my best work—truthfully, the next hundred videos I create might not be stellar either. But the important thing is to start somewhere. With limited time this month due to my illness, I've been experimenting with various text and image generation software. This video will largely be based on that experimentation.
I utilized Copy.ai to generate new slogans for Intro Maker and employed Stable Diffusion, a cutting-edge image generation model, to create a variety of fake logos. Admittedly, the logos turned out quite poorly, and I realize I need to enhance my skills in crafting prompts for both the text and image outputs.
To wrap it up, here’s a roundup of the top 10 most popular videos from Intro Maker over the last year, enhanced with AI content.
