After acquiring the questions, the next logical step was to generate the responses. I utilized another feature on OpenAI’s platform, the chat function located at the bottom of the examples page. I copied each question and pasted it into the chat window sequentially, prompting the AI to formulate an appropriate response.
Before long, I had a complete dialogue ready for the video.
Step 3: Creating the Video with Synthesia
Next, I turned to Synthesia, a platform known for creating videos featuring synthetic actors. After logging in, I selected my synthetic actor and voice options. For each question, I created individual slides, ensuring that the host's queries and the guest's responses were lined up and formatted correctly.
I attempted to include pauses so that the dialogues would align seamlessly; however, some adjustments were necessary during the editing phase to achieve a polished look. After completing the arrangement, I simply selected the “Generate Video” option, and Synthesia processed it into a downloadable video.
The final step involved editing these segments together side by side. If you look closely, you will notice the jump cuts where I made adjustments, but overall, I was quite pleased with how it turned out.
