How I Make The MOST REALISTIC Talking Avatar In Youtube With AI

Education

Introduction

Creating a high-quality AI avatar for use in videos can often feel daunting, especially after watching various tutorials that leave you with unsatisfactory results. If you’ve found yourself frustrated by masks and generic outcomes, you’re in the right place. In this article, I will guide you step-by-step on how to create a hyper-realistic talking avatar that can elevate your content creation game to new heights.

Step 1: Generate Your Avatar Image

The first step in creating your avatar is to generate an image using an AI image generator. I personally used Leonardo AI, but feel free to use any tool you are comfortable with. Here's the exact prompt I used for Leonardo AI:

Don't hesitate to tweak the model and settings for a more personalized look that suits your style.

Step 2: Making It Realistic with Hagen

For hyper-realistic results, I recommend utilizing Hagen, which is a paid tool costing $ 29 a month for unlimited avatar videos. This investment is worth it if you are serious about creating quality content.

  1. After signing in, click on the Avatar button, then choose Photo Avatar.
  2. Click Create Photo Avatar. You have the option to upload your own image or generate one through Hagen. Since I already have my avatar, I’ll opt to upload.
  3. Upload your avatar image, and Hagen will review it to recognize facial features and mouth movements. Once approved, you'll see green marks indicating validation.

Step 3: Customizing Your Avatar

Next, you will need to name your avatar and specify attributes like age and ethnicity. While these details might not dramatically change the outcome, it's good practice to fill them in.

After validation, you can train your model by uploading at least 10 images. Be patient as this may take some time. Once Hagen completes the training, you can choose a preferred image to use and even experiment by creating additional images through various prompts.

Step 4: Bringing Your Avatar to Life

Select the image you want to animate, then click on add motion from the three dots. It may take a few minutes for Hagen to animate your avatar, but trust me, the wait is worth it.

At this point, you’ll have a moving avatar ready for video creation!

Step 5: Finalizing Your Video

To create your final video:

  1. Select the avatar you like and ensure it says AI video.
  2. Decide between landscape or portrait format; I typically prefer landscape for longer videos.
  3. Go to the script section where you can choose a voice for the avatar and add your scripted content.

You also have the option to clone your own voice. However, for better results, I recommend uploading your pre-recorded voiceover created with 11 Labs. If you’d like a tutorial on generating realistic voiceovers with 11 Labs, let me know!

Finally, remove the default script and upload your voiceover. Don’t forget to toggle off the watermark before submission.

Congratulations! You now have a realistic AI avatar ready to star in your YouTube videos.
