How To Create VIRAL TALKING AVATAR using CapCut
People & Blogs
Introduction
Creating animated content for your YouTube channel has become increasingly popular, especially with the use of talking avatars. In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to create engaging and eye-catching animations for your videos using CapCut. This method has been simplified to ensure that even beginners can follow along without difficulty.
Step 1: Finding Your Character
To begin, we'll need a character for your animation. Lexica Art provides a vast array of character options without requiring registration. Simply visit Lexica Art, a free online alternative to Photoshop. Upload your character, select the Spot Healing Brush Tool from the left menu, and carefully erase the mouth area. Once completed, export the file as a PNG.
Step 5: Designing in Canva
Now, we can edit our background and add elements to the scene using Canva. Create a new project with a resolution of 1280x720. Upload both your background and the edited character. To make your scene more realistic, add elements like a table, monitor, and microphone. To save time, I'll share a few images in PNG format in my free Telegram community. Once you have everything in place, export your final image as a PNG for the best quality.
Step 6: Bringing It All Together in CapCut
For the final assembly, we’ll use CapCut. This popular, free program allows you to combine all your elements seamlessly. Open CapCut, create a new project, and set the aspect ratio to 16:9. Drag your edited image onto the timeline, and then insert a mouth animation video from the content provided in my Telegram community.
To remove the green screen background from the mouth animation, select the object, go to the right panel, choose Video Cutout, and click on Chroma Key. Use the color picker to select the green background and increase the strength and shadow settings to eliminate the green edges. If any green remnants remain, navigate to HSL, select green, and reduce saturation to zero.
Adjust the mouth animation to fit it precisely over the character’s mouth. For added flair, explore the effects section at the top left of the CapCut interface and apply any desired effects. When you're satisfied with your work, hit export, and your animation is complete!
