How to Get Started with Vizard 2.0
Education
Introduction
Welcome to our guide on how to create state-of-the-art videos using Vizard 2.0. This article will walk you through the essential steps to get started with our innovative webinar editing tool, providing tips along the way to help you produce high-quality video content efficiently and effectively.
Creating a New Project
To begin your video editing journey in Vizard 2.0, click on New Project. You have four options to add a video:
- Upload a video from your computer.
- Upload a Zoom recording from your Zoom Cloud.
- Record your screen to create a video.
- Use a YouTube video link.
Simply drag and drop a video into the designated area or click "Browse" to upload.
Uploading and Transcription
While your video is uploading, please refrain from refreshing or closing the page, as this will cancel the upload. Once completed, Vizard's engine will automatically transcribe your video into text, creating subtitles. Note that only English audio is supported for this feature. After transcription, you can trim the video by editing the text.
Video Design Interface
After the upload, you will enter the design interface, where design tools are located on the left side. The video monitor and the element pool are on the right side of the interface. Choose your desired layout aspect ratio – the default is landscape mode, but you can switch to portrait mode if needed.
Scene Management
Vizard’s AI algorithm analyzes your video and divides it into scenes based on key visual elements. By default, your project may contain several scenes, and you can create new scenes by entering a new paragraph in the text editor.
- Combine scenes by backspacing the gray line between them.
- Delete scenes by right-clicking and selecting the delete option in the text editor.
- Gray dots indicate pauses; you can delete them to reduce silent moments.
Adjusting Visual Elements
In the video monitor, visual elements are split and can be replaced or rearranged. Resize or crop elements as needed, and if you wish to remove them, simply delete them or right-click and select "Remove." Do not worry; removed elements will still be available in the element pool.
Additional Features
On the left side of the interface, you’ll find tools that only affect the visuals of the selected scene:
- Media Tab: Upload slides in PDF format or any images to replace poor-quality visuals.
- Text Tab: Add text boxes to scenes for titles or captions.
- Subtitles Tab: Change subtitle styles and edit text by double-clicking.
- Background Tab: Change the background image by selecting from Vizard's stock library or uploading your own.
- Logos Tab: Upload and position your logo within the video.
If at any point you feel unsatisfied with your edits, click the “Reset” button to return to the project's original state right after uploading.
Exporting Your Video
Once you are satisfied with your edit, click the Export button in the upper right corner. Please wait for the process to complete, then click the Publish or Download button. Your finalized video will appear in the complete page, ready for downloading and sharing.
