Father in Heaven, we thank You for Your blessings. We gather here today to worship You in spirit and in truth. Please speak to us, for we are listening, and may we respond lovingly to Your word. We beg for the Holy Spirit to impress upon every heart, guiding us to surrender ourselves to Christ and sharing Him with others while there’s still time. Feed us with fresh bread from Heaven's bakery today, and pour out Your Spirit upon us. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.
I want to begin today by discussing a very solemn topic. Let’s open our Bibles to Revelation chapter 13. We are witnessing events in America that suggest the image of the Beast is being formed in at least 30 U.S. states. This development is significant because we know a series of prophetic events must unfold before the second coming of Christ. The enforcement of the Beast’s mark will be preceded by the formation of this image.
In Revelation chapter 13, verse 13, a fire descends, foreshadowing the formation of the image of the Beast. Verse 14 continues, indicating that this image is being established through laws enacted in various states. Verse 15 informs us that those who refuse to worship this image will face dire consequences. As we proceed to verse 16 and 17, we learn that those who do not submit will be unable to buy or sell. This is not merely speculation but a warning, as we can clearly see these trends manifesting in today’s society.
As we study Revelation chapter 14, verse 9, we read about the consequences for those who worship the Beast and his image—the receipt of God’s wrath. Additionally, Revelation chapter 19 details the fate of those who worship this image and receive its mark: they will be cast alive into a lake of fire.
As God's people living in the last days, it’s vital to understand these current events as prophetic indicators. Not only do we need to stay informed, but we must also strive to cultivate the image of Jesus Christ in our lives. As stated in 2 Corinthians chapter 3, verse 18, we are to be transformed into His image, showcasing His character in our lives as we prepare for His second coming.
One of the key aspects we will focus on is that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in these last days—the latter rain—will precede the Sunday law crisis. We have been tasked with the urgency of receiving the Holy Spirit, which is essential for our spiritual growth and preparation.
Let’s turn to Acts of the Apostles, page 50, where we learn that if everyone was willing, they would all be filled with the Holy Spirit. However, many are experiencing spiritual drought, darkness, and declension. We must ask ourselves—why aren’t we hungry and thirsting for the Holy Spirit? Why aren’t we actively seeking Him? This urgent need for the Holy Spirit is even more pressing given that at least 30 states in America are implementing measures leading to the formation of the image of the Beast.
Reflecting on the first Advent of Christ, we recall a time when church and state united to persecute and ultimately crucified Him. Just as the Jewish church controlled the Roman governor, we expect similar dynamics to play out today as the image of the Beast takes shape. We need the Holy Spirit now more than ever, as the events that transpire will bring persecution to God’s faithful people.
To prepare ourselves, we must intimately engage with God’s word and pursue holiness in our lives, allowing His character to be reflected within us. Turning to John chapter 14, we see Jesus affirming that He is the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Him.
Within the context of the Sanctuary, let’s consider the seven biblical feasts outlined in Leviticus chapter 23. Among these, we will focus on the first four: Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Pentecost. These feasts reflect key events in the life of Christ that lead up to the latter rain experience we will see in the last days.
As we discuss these forms and the significance of each, we understand that Passover corresponds to Christ's crucifixion, with unleavened bread symbolizing His time in the tomb. The First Fruits illustrate His resurrection, and finally, Pentecost marks the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It's important to note that these experiences are intertwined and necessary for us today as we prepare for what’s ahead.
Children of God ought to approach the upcoming Sunday law crisis in preparation and vigilance. We must understand that Passover correlates with the mark of the beast, while the Sunday law is quickening. As the communities prepare to get back into biblical order through church and state unification, we must be on alert and ensure our own preparation includes living victoriously over sin.
To summarize, the image of the beast is being consciously formed in 30 U.S. states, with imminent enforcement expected as Sunday laws emerge. As God’s faithful, we are called to prayerfully seek the Holy Spirit, allowing His power to empower us to stand firm during the coming trials.
