Introduction
Welcome to the Interview Copilot™! In this tutorial, we'll guide you through the steps to set up your Interview Copilot™ for a seamless interview experience.
Step 1: Update Your Browser
Ensure you are using the latest version of the Google Chrome browser. If you need to download or update Chrome, you can do so at www.google.com/chrome.
Step 2: Upload Your Resume
Begin by uploading your resume. Click the “Add Your Resume” button to either upload an existing resume or utilize our AI Resume Builder to create a new one. Make sure to select the resume you'll be using for your upcoming interview.
Step 3: Add Position Details
Next, enter the details for the position or role you are applying for. Click on “Create” and fill in the relevant position information.
Step 4: Adjust Settings and Enable Permissions
Now, open your settings to enable all necessary permissions. In order to use the Interview Copilot with platforms like Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, you must enable audio and video access. Click on the request buttons and select “Allow” for every visit.
For Pro and God plan users, you can also download the Final Round AI Google extension to use the coding copilot feature.
Step 5: Launch the Interview Copilot
With settings adjusted, head to the Interview Copilot section. Click on “Live Interview” and select “General.” Choose the uploaded resume and the role you’re applying for. You may start the interview immediately or schedule it for a later date and time. Click “Launch” and wait for the loading process to finish.
Step 6: Connect on Mac
Mac users should select their interview room in the Chrome tab. Avoid using the "Window" or "Entire Screen" options. For Zoom, paste the Zoom link into your browser and join via the browser instead of the desktop app. Return to Final Round, select “My Meeting” at the top, and press “Share.”
For Google Meet, paste your meeting room in the browser and request to join. After that, return to Final Round and select your meeting room to share.
For Microsoft Teams, enter the meeting details in the browser and join from there. Again, return to Final Round, click select, find your Teams meeting in the Chrome tab, and press “Share.”
Step 7: Connect on Windows
Windows users can select either the Chrome tab or the “Entire Screen” option with audio sharing enabled. This allows you to join meetings using desktop client apps on Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Step 8: Engage During the Interview
Once your interview begins, you will see the interviewer's questions automatically populating on the left side of the screen. On the right side, the Copilot will provide you with real-time feedback.
For further customization, click on the settings icon to adjust preferences such as language and other settings to enhance your user experience.
