Office Hours Webinar: Master AI Image Creation – Leonardo Walkthrough! (Ep-4)
Entertainment
Introduction
Hello everyone!
As we kick off our Office Hours, it's a Thursday afternoon here in the UK, and I'm excited to dive into today's session. We're waiting for more participants to join, so in the meantime, make yourselves comfortable. Please drop a hello in the comments—I'd love to know where you're tuning in from and how you're currently using Glorify.
Webinar Kickoff and Housekeeping
As usual, I'm just going to take care of some housekeeping before we get started. Sharing the link to our office hours webinar across our communities ensures easier access for everyone. I can see we have Radiance by Ratilla Salon and Minis Spa joining us from YouTube; welcome!
Radiance mentioned they are trying to replace Canva, which is fantastic! At Glorify, we aim to build a graphics tool with a unique workflow, leveraging an infinite canvas for scalable and efficient design—no need to switch between different types of editing.
Leonardo Integration
Our main focus today is to explore Leonardo and how we can optimize our workflow with it. Leonardo has proven to be a powerful AI image generation tool. Previously, we relied on another image generation platform, but Leonardo's results are simply superior.
Why Use AI Image Generation?
Ownership: One of the fantastic benefits of AI image generation is that you own the assets you create. There are no copyright issues as you often face with stock content.
Commercial Viability: This means you can use these assets for any commercial purpose, such as creating T-shirts, illustrations, posters, digital products, etc.
Endless Possibilities: With AI, the opportunities for creating and monetizing designs have expanded exponentially.
During our session, I generated an abstract 3D background with Leonardo using a basic prompt. I noticed one important aspect: the more specific your prompt, the more closely aligned the output is to your expectations.
Generating Creative Prompts
I invited participants to suggest prompts for image generation, emphasizing the need for specificity. I experimented with a prompt involving cyborgs in a post-apocalyptic setting, noting that while the details were visually stunning, the generated images did not accurately depict the prompt.
As we tried out various prompts, I collaborated with Nico to refine our approach. We changed styles—like cinematic, dynamic, and even anime—to further explore the nuances of what Leonardo could offer.
Demonstrating the Potential of Leonardo
The excitement grew as we enhanced prompts and experimented with styles. Rays of engagement led us to discover that Leonardo can indeed incorporate text into generated images, a feature that's quite valuable for marketing materials.
As we played around with the prompts, it became evident that the preset styles of Leonardo had a profound impact on the outcomes of our images. So, whether for vibrant marketing or digital art creations, Leonardo impressively meets the needs of its users.
Creating Images and Assets
I demonstrated how to create assets from images, including batch removing backgrounds for efficient design workflows. We experimented with different mockups, showcasing how to utilize AI to build assets for products like T-shirts and posters.
Ultimately, we developed designs that not only captivated the imagination but also opened avenues for potential side hustles. The integration of AI-generated images with tools like Glorify creates opportunities for creative and entrepreneurial ventures.
Conclusion
In conclusion, today's session was a fantastic exploration of AI image creation using Leonardo. Participants engaged with new ideas surrounding prompts, styles, and the overall use of AI in design. From creating t-shirts to posters, the potential for visual storytelling is limitless.
Thank you for joining the session! We'll be hosting more office hour webinars in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for future announcements.
