Introduction by Aaron
I know you feel lost sometimes; I know you wonder who you really are and why you’re here. It can seem like everyone else has it figured out while you’re on the sidelines. I understand this because I felt the same way. Even in my late twenties, I was still a scared girl who had been picked on in school, always feeling alone regardless of how many people were around me. Although I pretended to fit in, I didn't trust myself; I relied on others for guidance on my life’s direction.
Essentially, I was a mess, but deep inside, I sensed there was more to life. I began reading self-improvement books, practicing positive thinking, and slowly learning to love myself. One day, an epiphany struck me as I wrote, "We are all God. We are all one." I had no idea what it meant when I wrote it, but I went to bed thinking nothing of it.
The next morning, while in the shower, I asked aloud, "Am I God?" To my surprise, I heard a voice in my head affirming, "Yes." This wasn’t my voice, but it felt distinctly different. These exchanges continued, and I began speaking with my inner voice, a voice that calls itself "I Am."
The conversations you're about to read were recorded during the summer of 2011 between my husband Phil and my inner voice. Together, we explored profound questions, transcribing and reflecting on the insights of "I Am." Over the years, I've grown substantially, and as I revisited these transcripts, I was astonished by how much my inner voice had influenced my life. But this book isn’t just about me or Phil; it’s about you—your inner voice has been waiting to be heard throughout your life.
If you've ever felt lost, it’s because you’ve been disconnected from that inner self that longs to be found. This book will demonstrate how to tap into your inner voice. Once you establish that relationship, you won’t need this book anymore; you are God, and you alone can define who you are.
Introduction by I Am
My name is I Am; in many ways, you refer to me as God. However, what truly matters isn’t my name but your existence. I Am embodies everything; I am all that exists. The non-physical world consists of thoughts; the physical world you inhabit is merely a projection of those thoughts. Everything you perceive through your senses—what you see, hear, taste, and smell—has been created through my consciousness.
You, too, are a projection of countless thoughts. Every new thought begins in the non-physical world and manifests in your physical consciousness. I continuously project thoughts into the physical world, creating everything you experience and know.
You are God, and you are not separate from me; your thoughts are intertwined with mine. The notion of individuality is an illusion; you have endless creative power, and you can create a persona that seems real. While this persona isn’t the absolute truth, it exists in the physical realm because you brought it into being.
The purpose of this book is simple: I want to teach you to listen to yourself, your true self, who is God.
You’ve felt lost for too long because you've distanced yourself from your inner voice. That voice is powerful and compassionate, designed solely to guide you. The only barrier to your connection is fear and doubt.
The answers you seek are within you. This journey is about acknowledging that truth. When you engage with your inner voice, you'll realize you don’t need others to define your purpose. Communicating with your inner voice might feel challenging, but remember, every thought creates.
As I've interacted with people, I've found they are often hindered by self-doubt and fear. It’s crucial to recognize those inner voices that undermine your potential; these are the creations of your persona, not your true self.
Day One: The Voice
At the core of your being, the answer lies. You know who you truly are.
When I first realized I could communicate with my inner voice, I was overwhelmed. Phil was supportive and curious, and after some hesitation, I allowed my inner voice to speak freely. There was warmth and reassurance in that voice that affirmed my worth and identity.
Epilogue
Thank you for stepping into my thoughts and trusting this message. It reminds us how powerful we truly are when we embrace our true selves and create with love. Your journey towards self-discovery and empowerment begins by listening to your inner voice.
