Introduction

Welcome to the document section! If you have documents you'd like to store, you can keep them organized under the documents section.

Uploading a New Document

To add a new document, start by clicking on the create button. You can easily drag and drop the file you wish to upload. Please note that our system currently supports only Word documents.

Naming and Storing Your Document

Begin by providing the document with a clear and descriptive name. Next, choose the location where you would like to save the document. If you have concerns regarding sensitive data, you can opt for the local storage option. Keep in mind that cloud storage has limited space, which may not always be available.

Document Split Method

Now, you will need to select the document split method. Further details on this can be found in our training materials. It is important to specify the shared style name applied to the headings in your document.

We also recommend enabling Vector search for more efficient searching capabilities. Additionally, using semantic search is highly beneficial for meaning-based searches and is strongly recommended at this stage.

Reviewing and Creating Your Document

At this point, you can review the segmented pieces of your document. If something seems inaccurate, feel free to adjust the split method. Once you are confident in your selections, click on create.

Please be aware that the upload time may vary depending on the size of the document. After the upload is complete, you can test it using a few keywords directly from this area.

Document Management

Once created, you will see the chunk count, which shows how many segments the document was divided into. The size field will display how much space these chunks occupy along with their associated vectors.

If you ever need to make updates, simply download the document, make your changes, and upload it again. If you'd like to remove a document, just click delete.
