This Chat GPT hack will change your midjourney game | How to create realistic interior images
Howto & Style
Introduction
Welcome back to the channel! In recent news, Midjourney version 5 was released last week, and I’m honestly pretty impressed with the updates. If you've watched any of my previous Midjourney videos, you'd know that I often critiqued version 4 for generating images that contained random elements placed haphazardly or missing elements altogether. However, version 5 appears to have addressed many of those issues. The images now tend to look much more realistic, avoiding that typical hazy vibe of version 4.
I conducted a few side-by-side tests using the same prompts with both versions, and the differences are remarkable. Just look at the comparison between the two images generated!
To utilize version 5, simply type --v 5
as part of your prompt, or you can select it through the settings by typing /settings
in Discord and choosing the Midjourney version 5 option.
I discovered an interesting thread where a user named Nick described a Chat GPT hack designed to create tailored prompts for interior images within Midjourney. His outputs were nothing short of incredible. Although I initially felt lost when he delved into concepts like tables and editor prompting, I eventually figured it out, and I’d like to share his approach with you.
Nick’s method involves asking Chat GPT to create a table filled with data based on key elements he wants to see in his images. He structured the prompt as follows:
“Please create a table that breaks down an interior architecture photograph composition into the following key elements: composition, camera angle, style, room type, focal points, textures, detail, color palette, brand, lighting, location, time of day, mood, architecture. Fill the table with 10 rows of data where composition equals 'editorial style photo.'"
The trick here is that the last part of the prompt specifies the consistent key element across the composition column. This means he wanted that entire column to focus on an "editorial style photo." If you're aiming for consistency in one particular aspect, you can follow this format but modify it according to your needs. On the other hand, if variety is your goal, you can leave that portion out altogether.
Next, let me show you what the table generated by Chat GPT looks like. Here's what it contains:
Key Elements Table:
- Composition | Camera Angle | Style | Room Type | Focal Points | Textures | Detail | Color Palette | Brand | Lighting | Location | Time of Day | Mood | Architecture
- --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | ---
- Editorial Style Photo | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | ...
This structured approach not only helps organize prompts but also sparks creativity by offering styles you might not typically consider. You can mix and modify these key elements to suit your specific vision, or utilize the suggestions that Chat GPT generates.
I’m excited to showcase a few of the prompts generated from the table in Midjourney, incorporating an additional command to stylize the images by adding --stylize 1000
, which enriches the detail in the outputs.
I hope you found this video and the information it contained helpful! A big thank you to Nick for posting this valuable tips thread. With Midjourney version 5 now available, it’s certainly shaping up to be a top contender in my next human vs. AI challenge.
Thank you for watching this video! Please remember to subscribe before you leave, and I’ll see you in the next one. Bye!
